3. Make sure the chips

are

pointing the right

way.

As before, notice the indentation on the chips

pointing

towards the center of the system board (toward the back of

the unit). Make sure

you

install the parity RAM with the

chips pointing in the same direction.

Press the chips into place in their proper sockets.

Once again, make sure no pins are bent or protruding from

the socket.

You'll need to adjust a

jumper

to tell the computer

that

parity

RAM

now

enabled.

In the diagram on the

page, locate jumper JP5 located

almost right next to

SW1:

Notice that the jumper

currently set for RAM Parity

dis-

abled.
